THiNK was created by Matt Wade this year to provide churches with an outside perspective in the areas of church growth, clarity, and overall vision.
THiNK is designed for churches that are newly planted or have a weekly attendance of 1 – 500.
Matt Wade has 15 years of working experience within the church. He has served in the role of senior/lead pastor, youth pastor, music pastor, and volunteer. Matt is studying Organizational Leadership at Regent University and graduates this summer.
In addition to pastoral and leadership skills, Matt owns and operates a web design and graphics company called My Design. Here he specializes non-profit and small business website creation.
Katie Strandlund is the founder of Dirty Work. She leads a team of creative problem solvers who can bridge the gap between ideation and implementation. Our “sweet spot” is facilitating an environment that allows you to focus on your “sweet spot” by taking care of the “dirty work” necessary to turn dreams into reality.
Our third team member is what we refer to as the “?”. We find the necessary person you need to target a specific area in which we may not have all the tools to accommodate your vision. We have a wide range of church/ministry experts from which we can pull.
We want to remove the clutter of church vision planning and bring together a strategic THiNK tank for your newly formed, or growing church.
1. Secret church shopper
It will not need to be known that we are in attendance so that we can get the best feel of how things operate from week to another. We will attend one Sunday and/or one Mid-week Service
2. Make recommendations on the following:
Internal/external features of your facility
Signage for internal & external
Nursery, Children’s Facility, Student Facility, and Bathrooms
Lighting & Sound
Service Presentation (e.g. Welcome, offering, announcements, media, message, dismissal, etc.)
Overall church atmosphere
3. Vision Clarity
We will spend 3, 2 hour sessions helping you clarify or uncover the vision you have in your heart. We do this through visual aide and challenging dialog.
4. Staff Meeting
Attend Staff Meeting to given a written proposal of all that we have noted.
5. Follow Up
We will follow-up with you and your team via one staff meeting in 2 months to answer any questions and to simply see how your vision is playing out.
